Jantzen Fugate

Biography

Jantzen Fugate is a serial entrepreneur who has spent more than a decade on the money side of small business. In 2010 he founded Direct Business Lending, a Salt Lake City business loan brokerage he led as CEO for over 12 years, connecting owners with the lenders most likely to fund them when banks said no. Along the way, he learned firsthand how often financing works against the businesses it's supposed to serve.

In 2017 he founded the Business Loan Broker Academy to train new brokers to build and run their own brokerages. The academy was acquired by Nav, the small business financial health platform. Before lending, he founded Streamlined Record Retrieval, a medical record retrieval company, in 2007.

Jantzen co-founded Client Financing with his sister, Lexi Farr, to give businesses what he rarely saw in the industry: financing that works for the business that earned the customer. As President, he focuses on the lending waterfall, bringing together lenders, Everyone Is Approved programs and LMPP so merchants can say yes to every credit profile.
